William E. Nicholson settled on our ranch in 1898, choosing the sweeping panoramic views of the mountains from the Wood River Valley as the perfect spot to raise a family and cattle to provide for them. He started with just a few animals, and the business has grown slowly over the years. Passed down to his son, Stewart Nicholson, and then Stewart's son, Bill, the ranch is now owned by Bill and his sons: Jeff, Larry, Gary and Brad. We, as William's great-grandsons, have the same respect for this land as our earlier Nicholson generations, and feel it is our responsibility to maintain sustainable agriculture while providing outstanding quality for our customers.
