Located at the southern base of the mountain slope leading to Crater Lake, the Wood River Valley is a paradise of green meadows, broad expanses of forests and crystal-clear streams. To the west are the Cascades, crowned with snow more than half the year. The Wood River Valley has the reputation of being among the finest grazing areas for livestock anywhere in the world, and the Crater Lake Cattle Company is situated in the heart of this famous valley. Our water rights, the oldest in the area, are to a spring-fed creek directly from Crater Lake National Park.
